Education : High School or equivalent

Required License / Certificates : Forklift Certification

Must have UPS & FEDEX experience

Minimum Qualifications / Experience :

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and proficiency in Excel required.
• Experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in a production manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in using Federal Express and UPS to prepare labels.
• Ability to communicate in English writing emails and following up with phone inquiries.

Environmental / Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be asked to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls;

reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Physical requirements to lift / move items up to 40 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the preparation, processing, and tracking of outbound shipments of manufactured parts from the facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Using the ERP system Oracle, prepare parcel shipping documents and truck / air freight shipping documents.
• Stage and process domestic and international parcel shipments.
• Assist with the staging process of truck / air freight shipments, including proper piece / unit counts on the packing list and bill of lading for both domestic and international shipments.
• Using Oracle, process ship confirmation of orders when shipped.
• Pick and pack parts orders accordingly.
• Accountable for updating the job folder log using Microsoft Excel on a timely basis.Process change orders on a timely basis.
• Process call tag requests from Customer Support.
• Assist Customer Support with Proof of Deliveries when necessary.
• Supports Teamwork, Safety, and Quality in all assigned work areas; adhering to all OSHA and Amerlux requirements.
• Responsible for the printing of labels for jobs released to Production.
• Other duties deemed appropriate by the Company and Management.

Pay Rate : $19 / hr

Hours 6 am or 7 am start with flex to work weekends or late hours
