- Ensures product is slotted/shipped correctly.
- Follow commodity specialist allocations and change orders.
- Ensures all areas work together to fill orders in a timely fashion.
- Understands the process of entering pick tickets in NAV.
- Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork.
- Ensures quality, delivery and objectives, roles, and measures are met.
- Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.
- Carrying out responsibilities for the use of computerized systems.
- Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Sets up shipping list for day’s business.
- Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
- May maintain department data base, prepare routine reports and file shipping and receiving records
- Complete reports during and at the end of your shift
- Notifies manager or planning departments when major discrepancies occur
- Prepares Bill of Ladings: Checks items shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities are correct
- Ensures all relevant files are maintained and organized. Forwards to appropriate departments for processing
- Communicates with others to ensure shipping and receiving related problems are resolved
Education/Background Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous shipping and receiving experience "required"
