Duties

• Greet customers in the showroom and provide personalized service to understand their project needs.
• Guide clients in selecting tile products, explaining features, benefits, and suitable applications.
• Offer design advice and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and visually appealing showroom, ensuring product displays are updated.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance the customer experience.
• Manage customer orders, including pricing, inventory checks, and follow-ups.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and design styles.
• Utilize basic math skills to process transactions accurately using a cash register.
• Manage accounts by following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, ideally in a showroom or design-related environment.
• A background in interior design, architecture, or construction is a significant plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building relationships.
• A keen eye for design and the ability to visualize tile layouts and patterns.
• Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory systems.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

• Evenings as needed
• Every weekend

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay

• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
