This Project Manager will facilitate the delivery of highly technical projects within RFgen. Taking direct lead over various project aspects, assistant project managers work to help implement project goals as directed by the Director of Professional Services. Oversee project goals, create and deliver reports, analyze data from project execution, and any other duties as determined. The Project Manager will also take the lead on coordinating month-end billing activities for the Professional Services team and will help coordinate invoice related requests from the customer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the team of solution consultants through the project life cycle to design, build and deliver RFgen solutions on an agreed upon timeline and budget
- Manage day to day internal and customer project planning and management activities using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Waterfall, Agile/SCRUM or hybrid approaches as appropriate.
- Initiate, schedule, and conduct weekly project meetings with customers
- Establish positive rapport and working relationship with all assigned customers
- Follow-up on all customer requests for information or services within 48 hours
- Track, report and escalate project issues and risks to within 24 hours
- Conduct weekly resource and capacity planning meetings with the practice team, project managers, and Professional Services leadership.
- Align resource assignment with the skills of the resource while also providing opportunities for learning and cross-training.
- Provide oversight of processes, methodologies, and tools to minimize risk and validate the applicable requirements, standards and best practices are being followed by practice consultants on the project
- Lead technical reviews of project tasks, issues, and deliverables including providing recommendations for risk mitigation and acceptance
- Monitor all aspects of the project activities providing input and guidance that supports efficiencies to the customer and project
- Enter complete and accurate project related plans and data into the project management system
- Review project deliverables for alignment with contract and rate details
- Understand various software development life cycle methodologies and how they are best applied to a given project
- In coordination with the Sales team, participate in presales and business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with the delivery of estimates and scope documents
- Participate in month-end billing activities for the Professional Services team and coordinate with Finance to respond to invoice related requests from the customer including financial reconciliations
- Work across departments to procure the items necessary for completing internal and customer project goals
- Maintain excellent communication with a good attitude
- Other functions as deemed necessary by the Director of Professional Services

Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of overall information technology industry experience
- 3 years of experience performing project oversight and assessment for information technology solutions
- 3 years of experience performing project management, oversight, and reporting on ten or more small to medium sized projects concurrently
- 2 years of experience delivering projects using a software development project lifecycle
- 1 years of experience utilizing, establishing, documenting, and improving upon technical solution delivery processes
- 1 years' experience managing and reconciling a project budget against a signed agreement and purchase order
- Exceptional customer experience management skills with a focus on delivery
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution
- Experience working with project management and professional services automation tools
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
- Proven ability to generate and deliver reports and dashboards that provide useful insight into project details
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
