Duties:
- Manage all aspects of spa operations, including scheduling, employee orientation, and interviewing candidates.
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of spa products and supplies
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide exceptional customer service
- Utilize POS system to process payments and manage financial transactions
- Multilingual skills are a plus, as you may need to communicate with clients who speak different languages
- Manage and motivate staff to maintain a positive work environment and achieve performance goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa facility
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for supplies or services
- Continuously monitor industry trends and implement new strategies to enhance the spa's offerings
Experience:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the spa or hospitality industry is required
- Knowledge in advanced skin care treatments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using POS systems and other relevant software applications
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for clients
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries or complaints
- Ability to price services appropriately based on market trends and competition
