Goal: As the Events Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to secure philanthropic support to advance United Way’s mission. Primarily focused on events and volunteerism, you will be responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with public and private organizations, foundations, and individuals for philanthropic support of our mission. In cooperation with the development team, you will design and implement events and volunteer engagement strategies to engage current and potential donors helping communicate the positive impact of United Way and our partners to donor groups as well as the broader community.
You will manage and oversee our year-round community drives (i.e. Children’s Book Drive and Holiday Helper), volunteer initiatives, and community awareness and advocacy events. leveraging existing relationships to secure additional gifts and expand corporate support.
