Specialty and Metal Sprayer operates thermal spray. Prepares, masks, and applies metal spray coatings to rebuild parts. Being a Specialty and Metal Sprayer has basic coating skills, masking procedures, measuring skills and able to follow metal spray equipment operation guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Specialty and Metal Sprayer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty and Metal Sprayer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Sales experience at a custom fabricator is an advantage
- Ability to develop designs that meet customer requirements AND can also be manufactured efficiently and cost effectively by our plant equipment within our systems
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure and deal with customers with challenging expectations
- Ability to effectively communicate display concepts through two- or three-dimensional line drawings is necessary
- Entrepreneurial spirit. Must possess a “must do” and “roll up your sleeves” work ethic
- Computer Literacy. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
- Experience with CAD systems helpful
- Experience and comfort in working in an environment of continuous improvement of Business and Manufacturing processes
- Ability to manage his/her time and set priorities
