Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Full time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. 

General job duties: 

• Maintain accurate inventory of pharmaceutical products and supplies
• Accurately and efficiently complete assigned audits
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Document regulatory requirements
• Correctly receive and enter prescription data into pharmacy computer 
• Accurately pick, count, and measure dosages for patient prescriptions
• Package prescriptions according to company policy
• Adhere to privacy and HIPAA policies
• other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications: 

· High School diploma or GED required.

· Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state in which pharmacy is located.

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 

· Registered Pharmacy Technician with Ohio Board of Pharmacy with expectation of becoming Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy within 6 months through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
