Specialty Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense high dollar/specialty medications (e.g. Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis). Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Specialty Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Additionally, Specialty Pharmacy Technician requires a high school diploma. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician works under moderate supervision. We are seeking a Certified Pharmacist Technician to be a part of our team! Must be a positive team player and goal oriented. Competitive pay and bonus structure in place depending on experience. Hours are 9 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday and rotating weekend shift. If interested, may even work all weekend shifts from 9am to 2pm.
