Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments in a home care setting. Conducts evaluations of an individual's speech and language skills using applicable diagnostic materials and tools. Being a Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches, strategies, and materials. Establishes treatment priorities that include advising, educating, and counseling. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care completes required documentation to record assessment and progress. Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers to provide effective therapies. Ensures that treatment that is provided aligns with patient needs and is within the guidelines set by the payer. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment. Requires a master's degree in speech pathology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Overview
SG Speech Therapy is looking for a talented and driven Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our growing team.
We are a private boutique practice specializing in the pediatric population. We are seeking a part-time or full-time SLP or SLP-A with at least 2 years of pediatric experience. Our sessions are held primary in-clinic or via telehealth. This position is not the right fit for someone who is looking to remote as most of our lovely clients wish to have in person sessions at this time.
We are a dynamic and collaborative team, and your role is to inspire children and adolescents to become more effective communicators. You will impact the lives of the children and families you serve, who are eager to improve their skills and prosper within their community. We ask our team to provide quality, individualized services to children and adolescents ages 0-18.
