Job Description:

We are looking for an onsite Assistant Controller in our Rapid City, SD office to assist our Chief Financial Officer in the day-to-day operations of our business. The ideal candidate will help contribute to our company's success through excellent problem-solving skills and will become a valuable member of a great team.

Primary duties include financial transactions & month-end reconciling for multiple entities, overseeing employee benefits, coordination of external financial statement audit, multi-state taxation with assistance from external accounting firm, corporate registrations, cash management, A/P supervision, and assisting with all aspects of loan servicing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA strongly preferred
• 5 years of financial accounting experience
• Self-starter
• Analytical with problem-solving aptitude
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

Compensation includes base salary, bonus, paid health insurance, and paid time off. Starting base salary is dependent on experience of candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
