Job Title: RN Registered Nurse (Part-Time Weekends) - SUD/Dual Diagnosis Program in Waterbury, CT
Location: Waterbury, CT
Salary: $47.43/hour
Hours: Two positions available: Position One: Sunday 4PM-12AM , Monday 4PM-12AM , Saturday 8AM-4PM
Second is Saturday 12AM-8AM, Sunday 12AM-8AM, and Monday12AM-8AM

Benefits: Part-time (24 hours/week) with eligibility for sick time and 403B

Setting: Join a cutting-edge substance abuse/mental health treatment program.

Daily Life: This part-time position in an adult residential setting with 20 beds. Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, med pass, coordinating with the treatment team, scheduling physicals/PPDS, nursing assessments, and client care.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in Connecticut
• 1 year nursing experience; experience in substance use/co-occurring/mental health preferred

Responsibilities:

• Patient care, pain assessment, and pain management education
• Medication administration following safety protocols
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating patient treatment plans
• Accurate transcription of orders, lab requisitions, pharmacy orders, and pharmacology testing
• Proper documentation of controlled substances and narcotic counts
• Performing anatomical assessments and other duties within the scope of practice
• Ensuring documentation meets standards and policies
• Collaborating effectively with the team, co-workers, and doctors
