Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. · Provide case management services to substance abuse individuals.
· Assess and develop care plan for all persons served
· Coordinate all medical, mental, psychosocial, and supportive services with other entities for the benefit of the persons served, in a timely, unduplicated, and cost-effective manner.
· Assist eligible persons served in applying for government entitlement programs.
· Educate persons served or ensuring they receive education regarding the importance of Properly document activities for the purpose of billing and service provision.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required, master’s degree preferred. *
. Have some knowledge of substance abuse and HIV/ AIDS.
· Previous experience in direct service delivery, service coordination and/or group facilitation
· Knowledge of computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
· Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
· Reliable Car, insurance, and valid driver’s license.
· Professionalism, ethics, and excellent work standards.
