Job Description - Hybrid Position

In this role, applying a high energy approach, the Air Export Coordinator proactively identifies current customer service needs for our services while demonstrating the benefits of partnering with Blue Sky Supply Chain & Logistics, Inc. The adherence to compliance and direct communication with the customer and/or strategic partnerships.

Scope and Scale of Activities

• Daily communication with international and domestic customers
• Complying with customer requirements and procedures
• Issue shipping documents
• Complying with U.S. and foreign regulations
• Advising accounts/customers of shipment information
• Enter and updating shipment information in the operating system
• Tracking and tracing international cargo
• Analyzing and verifying documents received from vendors / shippers.
• Invoicing customers
• Process documentation

Responsibilities include:

• Cognizant of compliance measures and company standard security program
• Arranging pickup of goods with the pickup location
• Confirm pickup and delivery of shipments
• Close interaction with the shipper, customer and/or strategic partners.
• Coordination of incoming air import shipments.
• File export transaction through ACE AES Direct
• Provide pricing and documentation when new orders ready are for pickup.
• Proofread documentation received from customer and request information as applicable.
• Identify routings best suited to meet customer time frames.
• Provide accurate information including applicable costs and conditions.
• Respond in a timely manner to Customer requests for shipment status
• Issuing AP and AR transactions in the operating system (Cargo Wise).
• Communicate internally with the accounting department to ensure payments are processed within the agreed terms and conditions.
• Attend to regularly scheduled check-ins and feedback sessions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, university, or equivalent working experience
• Work Reference
