Position Summary:
Individual will work directly under the Customer Support Supervisor and perform day-to-day supply operations in the customer service flight to include equipment accountability, customer liaison, document control, and inspection/inventory.
Major Job Activities:
Ensure supply activities comply with published USAF guidance and policy. Read, understand and interpret Air Force Manuals, governing supply systems, policies and other established guidelines.
Review current operating procedures outlined in the manual and other applicable directives. Ability to recognize problems, collect necessary data to establish the facts and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Perform technical supply management work for equipment items maintained on Equipment Authorized/In-use Details (EAID).
Research, prepare, and process inputs to add, change, or delete organizational records for host, satellite, and geographically separated units. Process input transactions in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database for equipment assets that are received, added, deleted, or shipped.
Conduct and perform on-base organization visits on supply programs to evaluate supply support and effectiveness.
Respond to customer supply concerns and act as liaison with the Air Force Sustainment Center on resolving issues.
Manage document control records.
Perform inspections of property condition and physical inventory functions, reconcile discrepancies.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Possess valid State Driver’s License.
Ability to obtain a security clearance and meet the requirements for issuance of a computer network account.
Three years of experience in a DoD supply related career field, active duty, civil service, or contractor.
Must have good personal computer skills; proficient on MS Office products to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
Four years of United States Air Force Base Supply experience or minimum USAF five level skill completion (2S05X) which may be substituted with desired supply experience approved by the Supply Manager.
Experience with USAF Supply processes and able to review and interpret Air Force supply instructions and regulations.
Experience in USAF Supply systems and databases (ES-S, AMS, D043, DPAS, Document Control AIS, etc.)
