Surgeon - Burn examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with burns from heat, cold, chemical, or electrical incidents. Performs escharectomy, skin grafting, and secondary burn surgery. Being a Surgeon - Burn reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Burn may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Plastic Surgery office is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) part-time Front Office Receptionist for 2-3 days a week. Would prefer 3-5 years of previous medical experience. This individual needs to be detail-oriented for performing various clerical tasks, including answering phone, scheduling appointments, checking in patients and supporting office sales. The candidate must possess interpersonal skills working with physicians, patients, and staff members. The receptionist needs to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Excellent computer and verbal communication skills are required.
Responsibilities & Requirements include:
-Minimum 3 year medical receptionist experience -Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and accurately
-Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
-Perform data entry tasks with precision and efficiency
-Maintain office cleanliness and organization
-Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
-Support office staff with various administrative tasks -Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
