Systems Analyst
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Work with the business to understand Gap Analysis, current state mapping and requirements for designing an effective future state process. Identify and define detailed functional and technical requirements and use cases.
- Collaborate with Product Owner to determine project scope and vision.
- Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
- Where applicable, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on the user requirements.
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
- Develop process and system requirements and communicate those requirements to offshore developers.
- Embrace change management activities and execute/champion tactics that support organization change.
- Participate in the validation process of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized based on specified requirements.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Assess change-proposals and assist in the definition of solutions to help the organization achieve its goals.
- Assist in the identification of opportunities to minimize cost, provide recommendations and/or deliver corresponding strategic solutions to support cost effectiveness and to enhance stakeholder experience. This may include evaluation of tools and utilities that boost productivity, refactoring / redesign of existing modules for performance and scalability, or process improvements.
- May contribute to negotiations of third-party contracts/agreements.
- Ensure system compliance with banking regulations and internal procedures and processes.
- Work closely with end users, customers, outside consultants, applications engineers, and technicians in a professional, productive, and pleasant manner.
- Coach peers to adapt to change and develop skills of a change agent within the organization.
- Create a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest.
- Explain, promote, and sell the products and services of Wilson Bank & Trust.
- Participate in outside community events as the opportunity presents itself.
- Other duties as assigned by the Digital Solutions Leader or other bank management.
- Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and participate as an independent or team contributor and effectively interact with all types of personalities in dealing with employees and other customers.
- Must have excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate clearly with employees, team members, customers, and vendors in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Must be able to perform testing, planning, documentation, and knowledge transfer as directed.
- Must be able to work closely and effectively in a multi-faceted team environment consisting of technicians, engineers, vendors, consultants, and customers.
- General knowledge of bank technology operational procedures a plus
- 4 years working experience in IT application development, technical software design and development or other directly related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or similar. Experience may be substituted for education where appropriate.
- Certification of Agile, Project Management (PMI-BPA, PMI-ACP, CSPO), or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt a plus.
- Three (3) years related product/program management experience, including all aspects of new product development, process development and execution; financial or related industry, project management involvement preferred.
