Systems Engineering Director oversees the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Provides leadership to the team and ensures the requirements of the projects/contracts are met. Being a Systems Engineering Director ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Evaluates, designs and develops existing reports/documents for the performance of the systems. Additionally, Systems Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Systems Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Systems Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. This is a unique, new initiative for GST that offers candidates the opportunity to have a direct and lasting impact with the customer as they implement this new tool. We are looking for multiple candidates at various levels of experience, who can reliably commute to Crystal City, VA.Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance - preference for active clearance.

Requirements
Required Qualifications: MBSE experience, applied engineering, solid overall engineering understanding, CM, solid/thorough understanding of version control.
Multiple positions available from mid-level to Lead.Minimum Bachelors 12 years of experience, preferably where MBSE was your primary responsibility.Desired Qualifications: MagicDraw, Cameo, Rational Rose, DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System), or any of their extensions, or competing vendors' tools.
Clearance: Secret Level Clearance will be required. Can help refresh/ renew clearance if needed. If candidate has not had prior Clearance, must be able to obtain.Benefits
