Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     1.       Talent Management Processes and Tools

    ·       Supports the delivery of all talent management initiatives including performance reviews, succession planning, talent assessments/surveys, development, career planning, etc.

    ·       Owns the redesign and execution of Career Interest Days through the organization  to increase growth and development.

    ·       Responsible for managing the mentoring program and creating materials to support adoption, participation and understanding.

    ·       Manages and updates a suite of talent management tools (people planners, development menus, quick reference guides, guidebooks, etc.) used for talent planning across the field, RSC, and PFS.

    ·       Responsible for record retention related to annual performance reviews.

    ·       Support the execution of 360 surveys as needed across the organization.

    ·       Create collateral/materials for adoption of talent strategy across the organization.

    ·       Partner with business leaders to ensure calibration on performance expectation and update and create job descriptions, as needed.

    ·       Be a subject matter expert with our talent management tools and be a valued  resource for the organization.

    ·       Partner with PBPs to insure they have relevant data to foster effective performance conversations to support the talent meeting cadence; annual, quarterly, monthly.

    ·       Maintain or update HCM platforms as it relates to performance, succession, and engagement.

    2.       Talent Analytics

    ·       Takes the lead in executing and running talent analytics and KPIs to evaluate the strength of talent and areas of opportunity.

    ·       Creates dashboards and presentations/visuals to showcase talent analytics while providing insights on next steps for leadership.

    ·       Support additional teams in the People function on data analysis and combination of talent analytics as needed.

    ·       Proactively stay up to date with industry trends to identify new and different ways of showcasing data and presenting our talent.

    3.       Engagement and Team Member Experience

    ·       Support the organization’s efforts in measuring team member engagement. Partnering with 3rd party vendors to ensure deadlines are adhered to.

    ·       Support leaders with engagement activities including training, facilitating feedback gathering, action planning, and recognition along with monitoring execution.

    ·       Support change management efforts for projects and initiatives, including content development for team member communications.

    ·       Engage in the team member life cycle to understanding strengths and areas of opportunity for improving the team member experience.

    ·       Support the use of technology in the team member life cycle to strengthen the overall experience.

     

    ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS

    This position reports to the Senior Manager, Talent and Team Member Experience and works closely with the field, support center, and plant leadership/team members.  A critical component of this role will be to build and grow relationships across the company to support the execution of talent initiatives. This position will partner with a wide variety of teams and individuals to provide insights and updates.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

    ·       Bachelor’s degree

    Work Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    ·       Demonstrated passion for Talent Management.

    ·       A passion for obtaining a people centered position and the desire to improve other’s job experiences is essential.

    ·       Strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement.

    ·       Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development.

    ·       Computer proficiency with advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    ·       Ability to collect, dissect, analyze, and present data with insights and results.

    ·       Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, growing business environment.

    ·       Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects at once.

    ·       Desire to grow and develop in the talent management field.

    ·       Strong attention to detail.

    ·       Demonstrated independence and self-motivation in solving complex problems and creating solutions for desired outcomes.

    ·       1-2 years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, or related field.

    Travel Requirement

    • May need to travel by air on occasion (<10 days per year).

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    ·       Experience in data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.

    ·       Expert level skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

    Education Level/Certifications

    ·       Bachelor’s or advanced degree in I/O Psychology, Human Resource Development, Organizational Development or related field.
