The Bookkeeper is responsible for tracking clients’ revenue, expenses, and taxes, as well as producing financial reports in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Onboarding new clients from QuickBooks Desktop or other software to QuickBooks Online.
• Process invoices, reconcile accounts, perform payroll functions, and maintain the general ledger for multiple clients
• Prepare accounting records by compiling account information
• Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements
• Maintains physical and electronic records, documentation, and files
• Composes and/or types correspondence, reports, and related materials
• Gain cross training and proficiency in other duties to assist staff with clients
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks – Proficient
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in accounting or business preferred
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles,
• At least five years of QuickBooks experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
