As Rice Companies' Recruiter, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities and successful sourcing and recruitment marketing initiatives for a fast-paced, multi-state, actively growing company. In this position, strong emphasis will be placed on helping to grow our craft or skilled labor workforce.

Potential candidates for this position will ideally be based out of any of our 6 office locations.

Glencoe, MN

Mankato, MN

Fargo, ND

Sioux Falls, SD

Cedar Falls, IA

*Hybrid or Remote working arrangements will also be considered.

Key Accountabilities

• Full-cycle recruitment, including planning and conducting sourcing, screening, and selection.
• Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to understand staffing needs and priorities.
• Draft job descriptions and postings, create interview guides, offer letters, etc. following internal standard operating procedures.
• Ensure positive candidate experience through customer service and timely communication; Respond effectively to candidate’s questions and provide important information during delivery of employment offers (benefits, compensation, start date…)
• Develop, build, and maintain candidate relationships: Utilize effective sourcing and selection techniques to foster and maintain relationships with potential candidates.
• Partner with Marketing on social media and other recruitment marketing campaigns
• Deliver, communicate, and measure strategic sourcing plans and activities.
• Use available report data and metrics to identify areas of improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest recruitment trends and technologies to continuously improve sourcing methods.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience in construction craft or skilled labor recruitment is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in proactively recruiting talent through various channels.
• High energy and passion for Talent Acquisition.
