    About the Role 

    Are you a driven sales professional looking to make a meaningful impact at a fast-growing tech startup? We’re seeking a dynamic and results-focused Jr. Account Manager to help expand our reach. In the early stages, while you're learning the ropes, you'll operate as a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth by generating leads, conducting cold outreach, and setting up meetings for our outside sales team. Throughout your journey, you'll receive mentorship, shadow sales calls, learn how to craft solution-oriented proposals, and ultimately close deals. Our goal is to see the right candidate transition into a full outside sales role within just 6-9 months. 


    Your Responsibilities 

    • Master Our Solutions: Develop a deep understanding of Intersect’s consulting services so you can confidently communicate our unique value and competitive edge to prospects. 
    • Proactive Outbound Calling: Reach out to potential clients, generate interest, and secure meetings for our outside sales team. 
    • Build Strong Relationships: Identify key decision-makers, engage with them to understand their business challenges, and position our solutions to meet their needs. 
    • Strategize for Success: Qualify leads through research and initial conversations, ensuring a high conversion rate for our sales team. 
    • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies so you can provide the best insights to prospects. 


    About You 

    • Experience: At least 18-months of inside sales experience in the IT or tech industry, with a proven track record of generating leads and setting appointments, ideally with mid-market and small enterprise clients. 
    • Excellent Communicator: You excel at building rapport with decision-makers and explaining complex technical solutions clearly and persuasively. 
    • Self-Motivated: You thrive in fast-paced environments, with a proactive, results-driven mindset. 
    • Team Player: Comfortable commuting to our Alpharetta office at least four days per week and eager to be part of a close-knit team.
    • Tech-Savvy: You pick up new technologies quickly and can articulate them to clients with ease.

    • Compensation and Benefits: Start with a competitive base salary, uncapped commission potential, and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and unlimited PTO. Initially, you’ll be on a plan with an OTE of $80K–$100K. By your second year, you should be exceeding $100K and thriving in your role.
