Job Summary
Sea Island Land Development, a leader in site work and utility solutions in the lowcountry since 2016, is happy to announce that we are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

This role is essential in supporting engineering and design projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The CAD Technician will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, and build detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
• Create 3D models and visualizations using AutoCad Civil 3D and TopCon software
• Produce civil engineering designs utilizing Civil 3D to support infrastructure projects.
• Prepare schematics for utility and earthwork design projects, ensuring all specifications are met.
• Review and revise existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or project leads.
• Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions for easy access by team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project requirements and timelines.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong drafting skills with the ability to create precise technical drawings.
• Experience with land surveying equipment and data collection
• Familiarity with Site Work design concepts and schematic development.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team environment.
