POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides direct support in 3 functional areas, including Hydrostatic testing, Product Assembly, and Performance testing. Level 2 technicians must demonstrate the ability to work independently in all 3 functional areas, and mastery of Assembly or Performance testing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Assembly
- Mechanical assembly of FEDCO equipment utilizing prints, manuals, procedure documents and/or other methods of instruction.
- Frequent use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment is required.
- Requires use of pneumatic, hydraulic and various hand tools.
- Requires use of cranes and power lifts and working from lift platforms.
Hydrostatic Testing
- Hydrostatic test FEDCO equipment utilizing hydrostatic testing equipment and test procedures.
- Requires use of pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
- Must have keen attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
Performance Testing
- Performance test FEDCO equipment on various test loops, which includes test preparation and testing per instructions and procedures.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Load/unload trucks
- Other duties as assigned.
- Cleans around work areas, assists with general shop maintenance and janitorial duties.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
COMPETENCIES:

- Strong mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 1-3 general assembly/mechanical experience.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
