Account Executives are responsible for generating revenue from the sale of television air time to local advertisers for our 3 stations, web properties and full digital suite of products through cold calls and an active list of customers and prospects. Responsibilities include knowledge and preparation of station advertising rates, current programming, ComScore, market competition, community involvement and the organization of this information into oral and written presentation form for the client sell; the timely completion of internal paperwork including weekly sales planners and any other reports requested by the Local Sales Manager; and, attending sales meetings as called by the Local Sales Manager.
The successful candidate is highly motivated and extremely well organized, has previous Media Sales experience with strong local market knowledge and contacts. Applicants should possess a valid driver's license, current insurance coverage and possess sufficient mobility for traveling to client's place of business. Spanish is a plus. Candidate must pass a background check and drug screening.
Pay range: $30-$45k. Plus commissions. Based on experience.
