Top Accounting Executive provides technical and operational leadership across accounting functions. Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Being a Top Accounting Executive operationalizes accounting systems and processes to deliver continuous improvements. Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Additionally, Top Accounting Executive establishes internal auditing processes and coordinates external audits. Uses in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and best practices to develop accounting professionals. May require a master's degree in accounting or finance. May require Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to top management. The Top Accounting Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.   • The Procurement Specialist manages purchase orders, tracks and resolves order issues, maintains vendor relations, supports procurement reporting and process improvements, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company SOPs.

    This is a hybrid opportunity with the ability to work 1-2 days from home.

    RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPANY HIGHLIGHTS :

    • Create and manage purchase orders from requisitions, including tracking and resolving issues.
    • Monitor order acknowledgements, update order information, and communicate delivery dates, costs, shortages, and back-orders.
    • Develop and execute procurement reporting, support audit requirements, and ensure adherence to company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and implement procurement best practices, process improvements, and efficiencies through benchmarking and continuous evaluation.
    • Act as a liaison for procurement during audits and assist with related documentation and reporting.

    QUALIFICATIONS :

    • Experience working with an ERP system utilizing procurement modules
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Experience with procurement systems and supplier portals.
