    Your role as General Manager is pivotal for staff development and plays a crucial part in the hotel's financial success and guest satisfaction. You'll be responsible for both achieving profit targets and maintaining top-notch guest experiences while understanding and actively participating in the daily operations of each department within the hotel.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, personal initiative, and the drive to exceed expectations, both for the team and guests. If you have a proven track record in hotel management, you're exactly who we're looking for.

    Here's what we expect from our ideal General Manager candidates:

    • A minimum of two years of experience in hospitality management, including experience in a leadership role.
    • Choice Hotels experience desired.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Proven track record in achieving revenue and profitability targets.
    • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective teams.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to manage and train all staff of the hotel by working alongside your staff in all positions.  Manages through a “hands on” approach to be available to fill in where a need arises.
    • Experience in rate management and meeting budgeting goals
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
