Description
We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to join our team in Billings, MT. For candidates with extensive project management experience, a remote-work arrangement may be considered. In this role, you will oversee construction projects for electrical power, communications, and industrial facilities, covering civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines. You will serve as a key advisor to senior management, providing valuable insights and guidance on high-level business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, including program management for major clients.
- Oversee project financials, bidding, safety, field support, and general administration.
- Mentor and support Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Report to senior management, such as the Branch Manager, General Manager, Vice President, or President, depending on the project.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel may be required to monitor and control construction projects.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
- Experience: At least 10 years of project management experience with complex projects in transmission line or substation construction, or a combination of education and experience in high-voltage electrical systems. Experience in electrical design of substations or switchyards is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Vista (Viewpoint) software is advantageous. Ability to pass all required drug and background checks is essential.
- Additional Requirements: Must be able to meet auto insurance carrier requirements for occasional travel/driving and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
