Essential Functions:

Primary expert resource for Clients on all Workers' Compensation matters and related workplace safety/loss control.

Ability to develop Workers' Compensation best practices & guidelines, including but not limited to, reporting and claims management efficiencies.

Creation and implementation of educational programs for executives, supervisors and employees, in the area of Workers' Compensation Risk Management and related workplace safety/loss control.

Design and implementation of Transitional Work Programs.

Ability to assist Clients with selection of key WC-related partners, e.g. occupational health providers, third-party administrators, defense attorneys, etc.

Monitors Clients open workers' comp claims, working with Client and Workers' Compensation Examiners to examine reserve setting, medical treatment, specialty exams, etc. with the goal of rapid closure.

Host regularly scheduled claim reviews for Clients, individually or in conjunction with adjusters.

Provides data analysis, trending and reporting to Clients, as needed.

Primary contact with Alper's Triage/Early Intervention provider, and liaison with Clients in the programs.
- Education: College degree is a plus

Certificates: ARM, CIC, or CPCU preferred

A minimum of 7 years of work experience and strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and claims procedures

The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure

Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly by telephone

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and with an agency management system

Delivers outstanding Client service, with focus on internal and external relationship building

Continuously seeks to improve processes and deepen the relationship with the Client
