How this role supports our mission:
This position is responsible for: Assisting in the management of the E-Sales department and providing administrative support to the E-Commerce department. In the E-Commerce area, the incumbent helps ensure the day-to-day management and success of GISA’s multi-product E-Collectibles area/store, provides administrative support across a variety of areas ensuring support activities are carried out in effective and efficient manner. Completes reports on sales and other daily functions in the E-Commerce department.

High school diploma required. Degree in Business Administration or Management preferred.
Two years’ retail experience in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of antiques and collectibles.
Strong understanding of jewelry marking and appropriate assignment of value.
Ability to gain and maintain fingerprint clearance for Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Assist the E-Commerce Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the E–Commerce department.
Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and discipline employees within the framework of GISA policies and procedures.
Review monthly store revenue and expenses; operate the store at or above goal.
Ensure efficient, prompt, friendly and courteous service to everyone.
Ensure store security (i.e. relating to theft, pilferage, handling of deposits, access to facilities, etc.) is maintained according to company policies and procedures.
Ensure the preparation of weekly store schedules, and daily “to do” lists.
Keep abreast of product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing through monthly comparative shopping of competitors (i.e. retail, consignment, and second-hand thrift), and review of industry periodicals.
Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and environments.
Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow written and verbal instruction.
Possess current AZ driver’s license, and personal transportation with proof of auto insurance.
