    We are currently seeking an Environmental Planner to assist with contract compliance,
    conformance to budget, and schedule requirements for small- to medium-sized projects. The
    position will be responsible for the management and preparation of documentation that is
    compliant with CEQA for a variety of project scopes and clients. The ideal candidate will have a
    working knowledge of environmental consulting, which includes preparing and adhering to
    scopes, schedules, and budgets and completing and overseeing all components of
    environmental documentation.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assists with all aspects of small- to medium-sized projects focusing on topics which may be
    stand-alone studies or part of a more general program.
    • Assists with contract compliance, conformance to budget, and schedule requirements and
    with client satisfaction.
    • Assists in preparation of client proposals and conducting outreach.
    • Liaises with clients, agencies, and consultant team members, including subconsultants.
    • Works effectively and independently.
    • Has a solid understanding of CEQA requirements and processes.
    • Is committed to timely completion of high-quality work.

    Knowledge and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related environmental technical discipline
    plus 5-7 years of experience.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong time-
    management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and
    produce a high volume of accurate work.
    • Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA and California planning law.
    • Must have a good understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
    • Attention to detail; professional demeanor. Must be able to exercise sound judgment.
    • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask as well as be able to work in a
    team environment with a variety of project members.
