Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand - Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines - Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors - Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste properly - Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests - Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination - Help with organizing and storing kitchen supplies and equipment - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of basic food safety principles is a plus - Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from superiors - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
