We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for leadership and improving patient care. Your role will involve leading our Inpatient Care Service, overseeing various units, ensuring high-quality care, and shaping the future of our healthcare services.
What You'll Do- Lead and Inspire: Provide executive leadership and direct supervision to Nurse Managers across multiple units including Medical and Surgical Inpatient beds, Palliative Care, Rehab, Intensive Care, Emergency Department, and Nursing Officer of the Day (NOD).
- Enhance Operations: Assess, plan, and evaluate daily operations to ensure the smooth functioning of medical/surgical units.
- Innovate and Collaborate: Design and implement interdisciplinary programs in partnership with Chiefs of Medicine and Surgery.
- Manage Resources: Assess and recommend the allocation of resources, manage staffing levels, oversee overtime, and play a key role in recruiting and retaining top nursing talent.
- Ensure Competency: Oversee annual competency assessments for nursing staff.
- Analyze and Improve: Review performance metrics and data trends, and collaborate with the Nurse Executive Team and Nurse Managers to develop follow-up plans.
