Position Details for Part-Time Housekeeper
Charleston family who is located in Downtown Charleston is searching for a part-time housekeeper for their private home.
-This family is looking for someone to work roughly 15 hours per week (5 hours per day) over three days- ideally, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday although for the right Candidate, they do have flexibility.
-The right Candidate must have experience with antique care and a keen eye for detail and organization. This is a historic home, built in the 1700’s with an antique collection that matches the age and character of this property. It is extremely important the housekeeper is very careful and understanding of the importance of antique care.
Duties Include:
General Housekeeping as well as Laundry, Ironing, Windows, Floor Care, Bathrooms, Dusting, and Polishing.
-The general organization includes putting away clothing and keeping wardrobes and cabinets in great shape.
-Deep Cleaning is to be done when they are not in residence.
Additional Details:
The Clients work from home, in their carriage house 100% of the time when they are in residence.
Having experience with Winding Clocks is a bonus.
Having experience with high-end antiques is a must.
A minimum of three years of experience in Private Household Cleaning is required.
There are no pets or children in this home.
