The Opportunity:

In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our continued success by providing accurate project costing and estimates for educational and healthcare institutions in the Huntsville area.

• Collaborate with the Business Development team to understand project requirements for schools and hospitals.
• Utilize your expertise in flooring materials and installation processes to develop detailed cost estimates and proposals.
• Leverage Sourcewell purchasing cooperative contracts (preferred) to ensure competitive pricing and streamline the procurement process for clients.
• Manage client expectations by providing clear timelines and transparent communication throughout the project estimation phase.
• Work closely with internal teams (warehousing, shipping, installation) to ensure project feasibility within budget constraints.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience as an Account Manager in a construction or related field.
• Proven ability to generate accurate and comprehensive costing reports.
• Strong understanding of commercial flooring materials, installation processes, and associated costs.
• Familiarity with Sourcewell purchasing cooperative contracts (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience working in the educational or healthcare sector (a plus).
