Traffic Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Traffic Control Lead is a Union position. If you are not yet a member, we can help facilitate the onboarding process. The Traffic Control Lead works under the direction of a contractor to identify the various needs and or phases of a job. He or she is involved in providing onsite leadership and supervision of the work crew to successfully complete a job. The Lead will be tasked to assess his or her work crew’s performance and to provide feedback to the Safety Team. The Lead specializes in the following: traffic control equipment installation, flagging setups, flagger control, jobsite training. A Lead must have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

POSITION DUTIES:
Education: High School Diploma preferred.
Language: English.
Experience: 2 years in a Lead role in the Traffic Control industry, or 4 years in a Supervisor role in a related industry. Journeyman level Laborers Union classification, or equivalent experience. Traffic Control experience required. Flexible Schedule a must.
