Traffic Clerk, Sr. provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk, Sr. contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk, Sr. prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     COASTAL ANNEX CLERK

    General Responsibilities:

    Under routine supervision from the Coastal Annex Manager, perform a variety of simple to complex clerical operations relating to the various services provided by the Clerk of Courts and County Comptroller at the South Walton Courthouse Annex.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    · Graduation from an accredited high school, or possession of an equivalency diploma.

    · One (1) year clerical experience is preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    · Thorough knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

    · Working knowledge of modern office methods, techniques, practices, and procedures.

    · Skill to operate with appropriate speed and accuracy a computer, printer, and standard office business machines including, but not limited to, a calculator, copier, scanner, and fax.

    · Ability to type 30 correct words per minute.

    · Ability to communicate effectively in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.

    · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

    · Ability to understand and follow simple to moderately complex oral and written instructions.

    · Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of simple to moderately complex records, compile data, and prepare report.
