Training Administrator is responsible for the coordination of employee and management training programs. Administers a recordkeeping system to track employee training participation and progress. Being a Training Administrator assists in other administrative and budgeting tasks associated with training programs. Coordinates and tracks participation in outside training activities. Additionally, Training Administrator may coordinate or administer skill or competency assessments, career counseling, outplacement, and other specialized training or development programs for employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Training Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     K9 Mania Dog Training, located in Deer Park, NY, is currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the dual role of Asst. Social Media Manager/Office Administrator at our dog training facility. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing our office's administrative functions with exceptional communication skills, including but not limited to handling phone calls, managing email correspondence, and interacting with clients and customers to maintain a high standard of service.

    As the Asst. Social Media Manager/Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our online presence and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Collaborate with the remote team on administrative and marketing initiatives.
    • Monitoring online reviews and addressing customer feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Assisting with office administration tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing appointments.
    • Greeting clients, visitors, and guests at the front desk with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Maintaining office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in working order.
    • Developing strategies to increase engagement and followership on social media platforms.
    • Managing all social media platforms, including creating engaging content, and scheduling posts.
    • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
    • Collaborating with the training team to coordinate events, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with social media platforms and office software.
    • Teamwork capabilities are essential
    • A deep affection for dogs is a must.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Availability for a flexible work schedule.
    • Previous experience in social media management, office administration, and front desk duties is preferred but not required.

    Please note that this job is FULL-TIME and IN-PERSON

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week

    Schedule:

    • 10 hour shift
    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekends as needed

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Deer Park, NY 11729: Relocate before starting work (Required)
