Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Baseball Coach to lead our 7U travel team and develop these young players and lead them to success. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports coaching, particularly in baseball, and a background in working with students.
Duties:
- Develop and implement effective training programs for baseball players
- Instruct players on proper techniques, strategies, and game rules
- Organize and lead practice sessions to enhance player skills
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players for improvement
- Plan and coordinate with the Team Manager the team practices, games, and tournaments
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among players
- Monitor player progress and adjust coaching methods as needed
Skills:
- Experience in sports coaching, preferably in baseball
- Ability to educate and motivate players effectively
- Knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Ability to pitch to the players in games and practices since this is a coach pitch league
- Previous experience working with students or athletes
