Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of daily treasury operations. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Analyst researches economic trends and investment opportunities. May assist senior staff with preparing materials and reports using standard methodologies and procedures. Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Treasury Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Under general direction, the Treasury & Collections Supervisor oversees all Tax Researchers (TR) and the Senior Tax Researcher and reviews and verifies their work; trains and coaches assigned staff; resolves issues, especially those complex/complicated issues that have been referred by Tax Researchers; works cooperatively to provide a healthy work environment, with effective communication and problem solving. Addresses taxpayer issues, processes high-volume property tax accounts, reconciles batch payments, researches and provides paperwork for errors, refunds and voids. Monitors, tracks, reports, and collects taxes and delinquent taxes; responds to taxpayers by phone, email and mail within two business days; provides spreadsheets for delinquent property accounts, employee time, and status update reports; and completes other duties as necessary or assigned.
