Being a Treasury Analyst researches economic trends and investment opportunities. May assist senior staff with preparing materials and reports using standard methodologies and procedures. Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Treasury Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. JOB SUMMARY
This position contributes to the company’s success by ensuring an efficient banking structure to support its global operations. The Analyst will support all aspects of Treasury Operations and some Accounts Payable activities. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company and supporting the cash forecasting process. This will require utilization of advanced Microsoft Excel skills to improve, maintain, and analyze cash forecasting models.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES- Support cash forecasting process
- Contribute to the global cash management strategy
- Evaluate and implement new banking products and services
- Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts, cash balances, and bank cost information
- Support Standby Letters of Credit and bank guarantees requirements
- Liaison between various departments for compliance reporting
- Interact with external auditors on matters related to cash, treasury, accounts payable, and SOX
- Work closely with AP, AR, and Payroll to resolve payment issues and inquiries
- Review and execute inter-company funding requests typically involving foreign exchange
- Provide input on ad-hoc corporate projects related to cash and accounts payable
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS- 2 years of work experience in treasury/cash management
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related
- Must exhibit strong Excel skills (Advanced formulas, Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs…)
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills

Treasury Analysts seem to be robots plugging in numbers to spreadsheets, but the Director of Billing basically is responsible for and involved in all accounting related to revenues – deferring unearned, accruing unbilled, dealing with auditors, analyzing to ensure accuracy, determining appropriate accruals for bad debt, some forecasting of future billing and/or cash flow, etc.
