The Utility Meter Installer requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Tests, adjusts, and repairs electrical meters. Being an Utility Meter Installer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. May be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience. In addition, Utility Meter Installer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Responsibilities:
1) Installation of kitchen and household appliances such as dishwashers, microwaves, stoves and ovens etc.
2) Ability to display professionalism and artisanship
3) Willingness to train and apply skills within the trades
Work Experience:
While none is required, experience in plumbing, electrical, hand tools and home maintenance are preferred.
Must possess the ability to:
1) Lift 50lbs or more consistently
2) Provide documentation of valid drivers license
3) Pass a background Check
4) Furnish your own tools
5) Have your own truck or cargo van
