Utility Meter Installer jobs in Monroe, LA

As an Installer at Bayou Wood, you will be responsible for the efficient installation of doors, frames, hardware, cabinets, and other millwork items as the project dictates. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cabinet and millwork installations in a commercial setting, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and fit, trim ensuring precise installation and proper alignment.
• Layout and install cabinets in the proper manner to meet job requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or questions and ensure a positive experience.
• Inspect and verify that all installations meet company standards and building codes.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Perform repairs and adjustments as needed to ensure the functionality and longevity of installed work.
• Complete required documentation and reports related to installations and job progress.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of building installation techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.
• Relevant experience in a commercial setting is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
