Bay Breeze Animal Clinic is searching for a full-time veterinary technician to join our team! This is a great opportunity for skilled veterinary technicians who are seeking an excellent work-life balance in the Texas Gulf Coast!

3 years of current, hands-on experience as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic is strongly desired. Licensed technicians or candidates with surgery and anesthesia experience will be given priority.

The ideal candidate:

• 3 years of veterinary technician experience
• Confident in technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, surgical assistance, and anesthetic monitoring.
• Friendly personality and positive attitude
• Committed to a career in veterinary medicine with interest in growth and ongoing training

Primary responsibilities and experience:

• Medication administration
• SQ/IM injections
• Blood draws and IV catheter placement
• Surgical assistance
• Dental Prophylaxis
• Training and mentoring
• Anesthetic induction and monitoring
• Lab work
• Pharmacy duties
• General hospital cleaning
