Role Responsibilities

TCCI is actively expanding its Quality team in Decatur, IL, to facilitate its growth and capitalize on emerging market prospects. To this end, the company is actively recruiting a Warranty Analyst who will focus on improving customer satisfaction by improving the Quality of TCCI Products and Services while reducing failures and conformity to specifications. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supply customers with an RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number and documents about the claim.
• Receive inbound warranty claims by tagging parts, and logging parts by tracking number, claim number, and customer name. 
• Analyzing claims by tearing down the part, following the flow chart. Claims are to be torn down in due date order.
• Using other testing methods to determine disposition while watching for any defects that may require corrective action.
• Document warranty claims findings via teardown form and enter claim data into the customer's website and Excel spreadsheets for internal and external use.
• Recording warranty numbers per customer for monthly meeting charts.
• Using various customer portals to check for warranty claims.

Requirements

 Key Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or quality settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of product development processes.
• Ability to use tools to tear down products. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to effectively communicate with quality engineers and the production floor.
• Ability to learn and use technology systems.
• Strong Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications

2 years in a quality position

2 years of manufacturing experience

1-2 years of quality documentation experience

Mechanical background

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.
