Job Description
As a Web Project Manager, you lead the life-cycle of all web projects and involve relevant stakeholders and resources to meet client expectations and budgets. You are proactive and collaborative, working with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients. You work alongside developers and designers to complete tasks, facilitate quality assurance testing, and fulfill objectives. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment will provoke innovative solutions and technologies for new and ongoing web projects.
Job Expectations
Manage the scope and objective of all web projects from conception to launch, involving relevant stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and resources, examining and recommending changes to current practices, and developing and writing proposals or contracts
Establish and communicate tasks, milestone dates, status, and resource allocation to meet deliverables on-time and within budget
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify obstacles, and report and escalate to leadership as needed
Facilitate quality assurance testing on web projects
Manage relationships with contractors and vendors involved in web projects
Write and update standard operating procedures and best practices for the Web Development team
Support and answer various technical questions from clients and team members
Research and stay up to date on project management best practices
Job Qualifications
A proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to effectively meet deadlines and client expectations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exhibits enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Required Experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
3 years of experience in web project management
2 years of experience using website CMS platforms such as WordPress
1 years experience in hosting management
Digital Marketing Agency experience preferred
