Being a Wood Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Wood Machine Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. POSITION – Machine Operator - Woods
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6am-4pm Mon-Thurs, OT on Fri)
STARTING PAY – $17.59-$18.00/hour depending on experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – One to two years related work experience or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Operates a variety of multiple conventional, production machines and/or equipment at specified machining centers to fabricate wood products, laminated parts, and/or metal components. Perform minor setup and adjustment functions on these machines.
