MEDICAL BILLER: (Please no third party billing companies)

Genesis Orthopaedic and Spine, a multi-specialty Orthopedic, Spine and Sports Medicine practice in Westfield, NJ, West Orange, NJ, and Morristown, NJ has an exciting opportunity to join our growing family and is seeking a FULL-TIME Workers Compensation and MVA/No Fault billing specialists. Experience working in an Orthopedic or Sports Medicine office preferred. Additional experience or training on eClinicalWorks EMR. Knowledge of clearinghouses such as Waystar and Jopari is a PLUS.

We are a Monday to Friday, 9-5 office

Experience: This Position requires the candidate to have experience submitting Workers Comp, Motor Vehicles, PIP and No fault claims. Also experience with denials or rejection appeals.

Job Description:

• Knowledge of Medical Billing/coding
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Claims submission
• Posting daily revenue payments
• Denial tracking
• Checking daily balances
• Ensure payments match our contracted rates or fee schedules
• Contact Workers Compensation groups in regards to any approvals and non-payments and
• Able to record and identify denial codes and reasons why
• Generate weekly reports as requested
• Handle case worker billing calls
• Maintaining excel spreadsheets
• Additional duties as requested by manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.30 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
