Job Description

The Aircraft Inspector III oversees part installation and inspects adjustments or modifications to existing parts. Inspects aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure safe flying and conformance to specifications and government regulations and procedures. Being an Aircraft Inspector III requires a high school degree, a flight inspector license. Performs preflight and post flight inspections identifying any breach of standards for safe flight. In addition, Aircraft Inspector III typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Working as an Aircraft Inspector III typically requires 5-7 years of related experience. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.
