Job Description

The Anesthesiologist administers local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetic, records type and amount of anesthesia, and determines condition of patient before, during, and after sedation. Examines patient to determine type of anesthetic needed and communicates findings to appropriate medical practitioner. Being an Anesthesiologist may report to a medical director. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. Anesthesiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
